Proposed location of new junction, on the Clane Rd for the new Sallins By-pass. This new junction is located a few hundred metres north of Sallins Village, along the Clane Road.
Approaching the River Liffey, where a new 3 span bridge will be constructed, allowing the Sallins By-pass to cross over. With the design for this new structure at its final stage, works on this new Bridge will be commencing shortly.

Over 600,000m3 of material is required to be imported for the construction of the Sallins By-pass embankments.
The new junction 9A off the Motorway, at Osberstown. This new junction will provide access to the Sallins By-pass.
Currently, works are underway, constructing the center pier and abutments for the new overbridge at this location.

Gardai urging drivers to obey speed limits during the M7 roadworks
A motorist has been clocked driving at 141km/hr in a 60km zone during the M7 roadworks today.
Gardai warn that the driver may be facing a charge of dangerous driving which carries an automatic loss of licence on conviction. Drivers are being urged to obey the speed limits during the M7 upgrades.
Since January 6th, works on the M7 mainline, between Junction 8 and Junction 10 are taking place in the median.
To accomodate these works, the following traffic restrictions have been put in place.
